Latest Updates on Doon Business School Admission 2023 & Doon Business School Scholarships:

Refund Policy

The Doon Business School, for the purpose of removing a student from any institution the student, as well as the parents of students must apply for withdrawal. Refund of charges or fees will be evaluated in accordance with the guidelines of the Doon Business School Group.

Academic Fee

1. If a student is seeking a refund prior to the date for a refund, the total amount received will be refunded. However, Rs. 1000 will be deducted to cover processing costs.

2. For students who want to receive a refund after the specified date for a refund, “No Refund” with the exception of Security Amount (after the adjustment of all dues that are valid) is admissible. Additionally the amount of Rs. 1000/- will also be added to processing fees.

3. Refunds for 2021-22 will be made in the following manner: 

The 6th of August 2021 – PGDM (SAP) / PGDM (Global) / PGDM (Agri-Business)

The 6th of August 2021 – MBA BASE / MBA / MBA-IB

BBA+MBA (5 Years Integrated) / BBA / BCA / BCom / BA Mass Communication

10th September 2021 – MA Mass Communication, BSc Agriculture / BSc Forestry

The date of the last day can be changed in accordance with guidelines of the AICTE/UGC from now to time.

4. Students, once they have accepted their admission and paid the full or part of their fees and requested special extensions past the dates given in order to meet a particular need such as payment of fees, the money deposited will be forfeited in the event that the balance fee is not paid on the required time.

Hostel Refunds

  1. Hotel fees are based on a yearly basis. Normally, students cannot leave hostel facilities during the course of the year.
  2. Charges for hostels are reimbursed after deducting the admission fee if a student requests a reimbursement prior to the start of the academic year.
  3. Students who wish to leave the hostel before the start of a course, or have been asked to leave because of disciplinary action within the first six months are required to pay six months’ rent (one period) at the administration’s discretion. Refunds are prorated over the following six months for students seeking refunds in the 10 academic months and counting beginning with the month of the course’s first session. If the student enrolls and is charged variable charges of Rs 2500/- per month, she will be refunded for the remainder of the period of 10 consecutive months (i.e. the total time of both sessions during the academic year).

BASE Program Refund

BASE certification, or any other certification that is available and not required. Students who are unable to complete the program or certification before the start of the academic year will have all certification fees reimbursed. If you wish to withdraw from a program, please contact the program coordinator and dy.registrar@doonbusinessschool.com.

Within 7 days after the date of registration/re-registration for the term, however, no refund or withdrawal refund of the same kind can be made.

All disputes , of whatever nature, are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and forum in Dehradun only.

Scholarships for Post Graduate Students

Merit Scholarship at Doon Business School Group

Conditions of Scholarship for the 2021-23 intake Batch:

This scheme is valid for anyone who is a candidate for the PGDM/MBA Program within the Doon Business School Group who is able to show a valid qualifying score and have attained the required minimum percentage for graduation.

Students who are qualified for a scholarship on fees for tuition throughout the program in accordance with the following guidelines:

For those who have an acceptable score in the CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT (with at least. 60% in graduation)

Note: 

  1. They are offered to the very first 15% of seats in each program on a first come first basis.
  2. The application for a scholarship will be accepted after 30th July 2021.
  3. Candidates should submit their applications for scholarships along with the admission forms.

Procedure:

  1. Students interested in applying for a scholarship should fill out the application form available at the institute at the beginning of each semester.
  2. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must submit photocopies of all marking sheets and certificates.
  3. It is mandatory for students to sign an indemnity guarantee that they will not leave the degree or course during the duration of the degree or course.
  4. After registering with the DBSG, you will receive an official letter of scholarship offer or confirmation.
  5. Scholarships are distributed in two installments or in accordance with the circumstances.
  6. When the results of the previous semester aren’t announced until after the deadline for fee submission for the semester following, students may be able to submit the equivalent of the previous semester’s cost, but if they fail to achieve the required marks, they must pay the balance of fees.

However, the scholarship for 3rd semester and beyond will be dependent on :

  1. 75% attendance must be kept in each subject separately for the previous semester.
  2. 60% marks for cumulative score across all subjects.
  3. The student is not to be subject to any misconduct-related disciplinary or disciplinary actions in which a fine or penalty is issued or imposed by the Proctorial board.
  4. The student must obtain a good moral conduct certificate by the coordinator of the course each year and file it with the Registrar.
  5. The student must sign a commitment of being available all the times during the course for any of the activities associated with brand ambassadors as well as in the event of any goodwill or events.
  6. There shouldn’t be any interruptions in studies. In the event of transferring to another institute the scholarship must be returned prior to the issue with No Objection Certified.
  7. Students must send an acknowledgment note to Board of Trustees for the Generous Scholarship each semester.If any of the above conditions are not met, the scholarship for the following semester will be cancelled.

Note:

Two scholarships above can be combined if the student meets the above conditions to be eligible for Uttarakhand Domicile Only. Students can choose the highest scholarship of the scholarships that are eligible.

Procedure:

  1. To apply for a scholarship, students must submit the required application form, which can be found on the institution’s website prior to the interview. Scholarships will not be awarded to students who do not apply prior to confirmation of admission.
  2. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must provide photocopies of all marks sheets and certificates.
  3. Following your acceptance by the DBSG, you will receive an official scholarship offer letter or confirmation.
  4. Each semester, the award will be distributed.
  5. In the event that the final results of the previous semester are not yet announced on the date for submission of fees for the following semester, the student can pay the fees equivalent to the previous semester’s costs, but if they do not score the marks required, they must pay the remaining fees.
  6. When applying for an award and filling in the percentages of marks for class XII, applicants must sum up the marks from all five subjects they took in their XII boards. Applicants who have taken more than five subjects during the XII boards can be considered based on the sum of their top five subjects.
